Another fuel-conservation measure was adopted in February 2011 in which nano-technology coating polymer was used for painting, which resulted in reduced fuel bills. If implemented on the whole fleet, such fuel-saving conservation measure can save costs as much as £14 million.
EasyJet Criticism
EasyJet has been criticized on a number of occasions for ignoring regulatory mechanisms, fallacious advertising campaigns and violating humanitarian grounds. For instance, in July 2011, a physically disabled boy was not allowed to travel as he had an electric wheelchair. In another occasion, in January 2017, the airline was fined €60,000 by a French court for hindering the boarding of a disabled passenger.
