- On 26 March 1991, a Singapore Airlines flight, heading to Singapore, was hijacked by Pakistani militants. On arrival at the airport the flight was cleared by the Singapore Special Operations Force.
- On 31 October 2000, a Singapore Airlines flight went onto wrong runway and collided with construction equipments parked on side. The incident took lives of 83 people and was the airlines’ first crash that involved fatalities.
- On 27 June 2016, the flight 368 faced an engine oil leak problem while on way to Milan. The flight took emergency landing and fire erupted on the right wing. Later, within a quick span of 5 minutes fire was extinguished and no major injuries were reported.
